About the Job:

Responsibilities:
This person will join the Perception Processing and Analytics Lab and will have the responsibility to design, develop, optimize and demonstrate real-time computer vision, image processing, and signal processing algorithms, architectures and software for embedded processors. The project focus areas in the lab include imaging with various modalities (such as cameras and radars), fusion of multi-sensor data, vision, recognition, classification, and compression algorithms.
Responsibilities include requirements analysis; data collection; design of experiments; research of related technologies; software design, implementation, test and debug on desktop and embedded processors using Matlab, C, C+
and other tools; optimization of algorithm/architecture/software performance using various measures of quality, speed and cost; comparative evaluations; rapid prototyping; project planning; recommendation of improvements; collaboration with teammates and other TI organizations; participation in R&D reviews, business meetings, industry conferences and international standards activities; preparation and presentation of reports, documentation, inventions, projects and proposals.
Min Requirements:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with thesis involving computer vision, image processing or signal processing.
