This person will facilitate controls installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance projects at RFab.
Primary
Responsibilities:
oResponsibilities include programming, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC/SCADA systems requiring 24/7/365 operation.
oOrganize and plan controls systems design activities, construction documents and project management in conjunction with other design disciplines. Ensure projects and systems are cost effective and meet the desired design criteria while adhering to budget and schedule guidelines.
oForecast associated costs and manage expenditures for new construction and/or sustaining operations and report deviations to management.
oWork to integrate reliability focus and risk analysis into Systems Engineering job scope. This includes FMEA'S, root cause analysis, design, commissioning and training.
oDevelop and review operations and maintenance procedures/programs with team to ensure use of best practices.
oInfluence Supplier Performance via management and audits of work performed in the field.
oDevelop relationships and communicate with engineering & other personnel at other TI sites to ensure best practices are communicated between sites.
oBSEE with a minimum of 3 years experience or equivalent combination of knowledge/experience
oWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems including Windows XP / 2003 / 7 / 8 / Server 2008
oWorking knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages: C/C++, Java, Visual Basic, C#, VB.NET
oWorking knowledge of VFDs and/or motor starters from Siemens and ABB
oWorking knowledge of the following PLC platforms: Siemens S7, Wago, GE Fanuc, Modicon, Allen-Bradley (RSLinx/RSLogix), Red Lion Controls
oWorking knowledge of IEC 61131-3 standard and programming languages
oWorking knowledge of the following SCADA/HMI platforms: WinCC/WinCC Flexible, Wonderware, Allen-Bradley, GE/Proficy
oWorking knowledge of the following industrial communication protocols/standards: OPC, DNP-3, Modbus, BACNet, Profibus
oWorking knowledge of the following industrial communication media: Ethernet, RS-232/422/485, Fiber optic networks
