About the Job
- Complete project management of new product development processes from definition kickoff to production ramp.
- Release new products to high volume ramp as per project plan. To exceed the schedule and GPM target without sacrificing quality and reliability targets.
- Early engagement with cross-functional teams for Design For Test, Design For Characterization, and Design for Reliability.
- Communicate with customer (as needed) as principle program manager. Call alignment meetings, organize data, and lead the customer review meetings to include design, process, manufacturing, product engineering, quality, and marketing during development through the product life cycle.
- Continuously improve processes, products, and services with a close loop feedback to the ramp system.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Elictrical & Computer Engineering
-Good understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
-Knowledge of product development processes from concept to volume production ramp.
-Good understanding of operations, process, and material manufacturing.
-Ability to analyze statistical data and translate to operational limits to guarantee device performance.
-Working knowledge of Bench lab equipment and ATE test platforms and processes.
-Capable of interpreting customer requirements and creating a product engineering plan, producing a characterization and qualification plan, and executing to achieve acceptable results by working with cross functional teams that support a customer program.
-Able to focus and motivate others by leading thru influence, collaboration and teaming not direct reporting to meet customer/business expectations.
-Must have strong written/spoken communication skills, ability to organize information well and communicate with clarity and efficiency for the target audience, whether internal or for customer communication.
-Ability to organize multiple parallel projects.
-Strong and confident communicator.
-Engaging personality to lead teams.
-Passion for product execution, risk assessment and business risk management.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience to manage multi-layered multi-site projects under ambiguous conditions throughout the development. Drive complex technical issues with program management, design, system, application, vendors, and customers. Take ownership, accountability, and technical leadership to address assigned tasks or projects.
Management/Organizational Skills: - Must successfully and appropriately interface with external customers. Project management, time management, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication (written and oral) are important skills in this role. Must be able to manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Independent and self-managing. Proper documentation Ability to work well with internal cross functional teams.
Team and People Skills: - Must be team oriented and able to work with TI-internal and external groups (design, test, QA, marketing, A/T, customers, etc.) to resolve issues across global cultures and different time zones. The ability to work well with others and to perform in a team environment is essential. Able to work effectively across internal and external groups. Able to clearly communicate with cross-functional team, customers, vendors. Willingness to mentor others.
Projects and Deliverables: The main deliverable is the timely market release of new product developments. Meeting all commitments to the customer including samples, evaluation hardware, and production ramp. The ability to provide timely status updates directly to the customer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
