About the Job
Product Owners at Cox Automotive are responsible for defining stories, prioritizing the team backlog and contributing a solid understanding of end users, the marketplace, our competition, and of future trends to the team.
As a Product Owner at Cox Automotive you will:
Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog
Serve as the voice of the customer to the delivery team by representing and reinforcing the customers perspective throughout product realization cycles
Partner with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, testers, and others to develop and execute against product roadmaps and release plans
Collaborate with other product owners, product managers and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and drive realization of product vision to meet quarter goals
Act as the subject-matter expert for assigned products
Break down epic-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team
Collaborate with user experience partners in usability testing and the development of the user design
Provide direction and support to development and quality assurance teams
Accepts and reviews completed stories with a focus on product quality

Have good public speaking skills
Have relevant experience within a software development organization
Exposure to or familiarity with an Agile or SCRUM based methodology is highly desirable
