IT Professional

This position will be an integral member of the IT team to provide firm wide support primarily with regard to system security and telecommunications equipment. Some of the secondary roles include; Administration of various user accounts, preventative maintenance of equipment, installs of PC's, Laptops, Servers and appliances, and user orientationtraining. The position requires some weekday evening and weekend work for project and non-production hour tasks. It also requires on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and oversee account provisioning process for business areas, and individual associates requiring access to information processing application
Multi-Office routing and switching with familiarities in BGP, Multicast, OSPF, RIP, STP and VTP
Accountable for initiating the process for creating user access and timely notification of IDs and passwords enterprise wide
Provide IT Security governance and collaborate with other personnel to provide effective communication and appropriate authorized access
Oversee and maintain documentation and revisions to access and other documents relating to associates and non-associate access privileges
Streamline and ensure removal of all account access for associates and non-associates that have terminated employment or services
Implement and support day-to-day computer security controls including but not limited to creating access and control, monitoring, security awareness relating to Active Directory, desktop computers, and VPN
Provide input for the selection and implementation of secure systems and networks regarding account provisioning and login access monitoring
Evaluate current system security and asset protection procedures relative to passwords, file protection, system audit procedures, user accounts, software installations etc.
Other relevant job duties as assigned or required by IT Director to support environment changes.Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a large corporate environment or a professional services firm.
Broad understanding of information and security technologies, standards, policies and practices, I.E. legacy systems, Active Directory, LDAP, LAN, IPS, SIP and VoIP.
Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures with hands on experience with the following: CITRIX, XEN Desktop, VM Ware, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Lync and Mobile Devices.
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server.
Attention to detail, strong analytics, interpersonal, time management and communication skills.
Problem solver and team player with high performance standards; Ability work well with supervision as well as independently
Great interpersonal skills, be able to interact well with all levels of employees as well as external clients; excellent client service skills required
Strong professional presence; ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining tact and diplomacy
Initiative to manage job related continuing education and keep abreast of current trends in the technology arena.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
