Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The role of the Investor Relations Associate is to provide a high level of client, prospect and consultant support and service for the US Core Fund. This includes but is not limited to: client reporting, consultant requests, legal and compliance adherence, operations/data management coordination and RFP assistance. The Associate works directly with the Investor Relations Specialist to plan, support and affect a strong internal and external client focus.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Assist Investor Relations Specialist with client service, legal, operational and other noninvestment-related topics for US Core Fund
Coordinate information from various Invesco offices around the globe to provide accurate and timely information to clients, prospects and consultants
Maintain/manage client (and internal) expectations and coordinate deliverables timelines with staff
Provide client and prospect support for US Core Fund including preparation of quarterly client and consultant questionnaires, preparation of due diligence requests and preparation of responses to any other ad hoc requests received
Assist with distribution of client communications for US Core Fund (quarterly reports and client net asset value statements)
Assist with RFPs/RFIs for US Core Fund
Demonstrate strong knowledge of real estate funds and strategies
Be familiar with fund governing documents, offering documents and side letters to ensure proper application of fund terms
Assist with the investor onboarding process
Work Experience / Knowledge:
4 years of experience required
Real estate experience preferred
General investment/industry knowledge
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Excellent computer skills utilizing spreadsheet and word processing (Windows, MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals including both internal and external contacts required
Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail oriented
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism
Works well independently and can manage time under tight deadlines
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
College degree required Finance or business related preferred
FLSA (US Only): Exempt
