Overview
The Regional Director of Sales (RDOS) is responsible for the sales strategy and execution as it relates to event sales at Topgolf. The RDOS will partner with the National Director of Sales (NDOS) to successfully lead all event sales initiatives by creating an excellent training and development platform to properly execute for all venues. Along with the development and implementation of all training and development initiatives, the RDOS is responsible for ensuring the sales process and key performance indicators are met. The RDOS will also work closely with the Sales Support Specialist (SSS) to continue to offer efficiencies with our CRM platform and will provide overall support to all venues on a daily basis.
This role requires 50%
travel to locations across the US.
This is a highly visible and complex role, since the candidate will be required to support and work with executives and users across the entire organization. The successful associate must be a passionate and proactive visionary in driving the adoption and value of the usage all systems that will ensure the charity tournament experience is excellent. In addition, the candidate must be a strong leader, extremely well organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This associate will interact with the NDOS routinely to receive guidance and feedback, as well as daily interaction with sales associates from the field. Many non-routine activities will require a supervisor's advance approval.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts training and on-boarding process for all new venues openings. This included, but is not limited to the initial training of the Director of Sales (DOS), Event Sales Managers (ESM), and Event Sales Consultants (ESC). During pre-opening timeframe, this role will also support initiatives to ensure a successful opening campaign.
Offers daily support to venues in terms of resources and needs to maximize event revenues.
Consistantly sources and cultivates business partnerships for regional and national events accounts
Tracks progress of all sales initiatives through data analysis and member feedback. Produces monthly report for sales teams and senior team trending results, sharing successes and challenges, and forecasting future activity.
Holds leadership positions with pertinent networking groups and/or national organizations. Develop and deliver presentations to promote the Topgolf experience to these organizations.
Support National Director of Operation(s) and Director of Operation(s) in developing, executing and growing site specific event sales, in partnership with NDOS.
Partners with Director of Strategic Partnerships to source and cultivate business partnerships for regional and national accounts.
Provide developmental leadership to the Directors and Event Sales Managers, focused on continued new levels of skill and achievement.
Drives national recognition and awareness for group events at Topgolf and directly manages all national inquries for Topgolf. This includes the planning and partnerships with any third party planners, such as Destination Management Companies, etc.

Key Qualifications
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
Ability to manage projects with multiple tracks as a high-energy leader.
Ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies.
Some business analysis experience (including implementation, tracking, problem resolution and reporting) preferred.
A successful track record of working with managers and executives at high levels in the organization, as well as staff users.
Experience with management of employees a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills.
Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused.
Meeting management and group process facilitation skills are required.
