Report Documentation Analyst

Job Description Beacon Hill is seeking a Report Documentation Analyst for a 12+ Month contract for a client located in Downtown Dallas. Job Description/ Responsibilities: Assist in facilitating detailed alignment of financial product data elements to reporting logic Assist in designing and developing deliverables to document end-2-end data/processes for the team's in-scope Risk and Regulatory reports Leverage COSO principles, data management standards, and other skills to ensure compliance with G&O Framework, COSO, and EDG (Enterprise Data Governance) requirement/policies Partnering with support groups (Governance & Oversight, Data Management, Analytics, Change Management, and Technical Interpretations) to improve the control environment Drive report documentation activities in partnership with consultants against target timelines and escalate risks, as needed. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following data management, data governance, data quality, data analysis, data risk, regulatory reporting Experience with governance and oversight requirements for regulatory and risk reporting Experience with documentation and evaluation of process/ data risks and/or controls with key stakeholders Experience in Data Management concepts including data governance, data domains, data lineage, data mapping, Metadata and/or data quality Background in data documentation including data/process flow diagrams, data narratives, data dictionaries Strong Excel experience (power querying, vlookup, xlookup, index, advanced formulas, conditional formatting, advanced charting, pivot tables, macros, etc, ) VBA to transform data (not at a development level) Proficiency in Microsoft Visio Experience with data management best practices and disciplines including data governance, data quality, analytics, BI, or data architecture Experience performing analysis leveraging SQL or other techniques to extract data from data warehousing platforms Ability to gather data requirements from subject matter experts Change management experience 4 year degree required Soft Skill requirements: Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong collaboration and partnering skills Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations Link Removed Link Removed Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
