Training Instructor

The Office of Leadership and Career Development (OLCD) is the lead office within ICE for leadership and career development. The OLCD provides essential training and professional development opportunities to help ICE employees enhance their leadership skills and achieve career development goals. The OLCD is comprised of instructors, facilitators, curriculum designers, accreditation specialists, technical experts, career development professionals, and administrative personnel that design, develop, and deliver training to support the development of the ICE workforce. As a Training Instructor the following duties will be performed:
Design, develop, revise, and conduct graduate level executive, management, and supervisory (EMS) courses, and administer and score criterion tests and examination. Consult with management and planning personnel in preparing and criteria for complex or high value projects or programs. Apply problem solving skills for technical review, and leadership for the education and training organization. Evaluate the effectiveness and adequacy of training and instructional curricula, courses, programs, materials, devices, and aids. For GS-13:
One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Providing formal classroom instruction involving graduate level curricula, courses, programs and materials as well as utilize virtual methods. Providing guidance and assistance to agency personnel on a variety of educational, training, and instructional issues. Assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of curricula courses Preparing instructional materials, aids, and devices for the presentation of graduate level subject matter curricular and materials. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Current or Former Political Appointees:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
