PRIMARY PURPOSE
Coordinates research and client services for the department of Radiology while maintaining all documentation as needed.
MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
-Must have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or a related field, from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
-Must have five years of advanced to complex level applicable experience.
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Prefer one of the following certifications:
-Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
-Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)
-Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC)
Equivalent Education and/or Experience
-May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.
Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must be able to demonstrate an expert knowledge of research activities or project management.
-Must be able to maintain accurate records, follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate effectively with various hospital personnel and medical staff.
-Must be able to use radiology, hospital computer systems and software applications to include in-depth knowledge of spreadsheet and database management.
-Must be able to demonstrate competence in hospital information systems applications within 60 days of placement in job.
-Must be able to demonstrate initiative in seeking new responsibilities and challenges.
-Must be able to demonstrate consistent interpersonal skills.
-Must possess a broad knowledge of all imaging utilized in Radiology.
-Must demonstrate independent analytic problem solving skills.
