Maintenance TechnicianPosition Description Repair / maintain interior and exterior of buildings (Paint, Plumbing, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, Landscaping, etc.
)Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair (Including but not limited to interior & exterior lighting / fixtures, light switches, electrical outlets, etc.
)Troubleshoot electrical components such as photo-eye, VFD drives, relays sensors, and barcode readers for automated conveyor systems.
Must be able to drive a forkliftMinor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing systemsMinor roofing repairsElectrical and mechanically inclinedPerform various monthly preventative maintenance as assignedMove materials and supplies around the campus based on customer and leadership requestsManage a variety of sub-contractors performing work that has been assignedExperience, Skills, & Education 2-5 years of experience in an industrial atmosphere facilities / building maintenance or related workSomeone with Allen Bradly PLC software experienceBasic electrical knowledgeCarpentry skillsPlumbing skillsAdditional Qualities Necessary Open-minded willingness to learn various tasks and approachesMust be well organized, demonstrate the ability to prioritize and follow through on all tasks and projects with limited supervisionAbility to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and in a 1-on-1 team situationMaintain excellent attendanceMust possess good organizational skillsMust possess high sense of urgency tempered with a strong attention to detailMust be able to operate in a team environment effectivelyPrevious building maintenance experience required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
