Field Project Manager

The Plant Project Manager and CI Specialist is responsible for identifying areas of improvement, developing and implementing plans to execute improvements, and documenting new processes.
It is also responsible for developing materials and train employees on processes and expectations.
Works under general direction of the Plant Manager; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and some degree of creativity is expected.
Manages and completes high impact projects as identified by plant leadership (projects are in areas related to productivity, work processes, quality, waste reduction, maintenance and other plant areas)Documents and standardizes improvements and processesEstablishes and maintains the plant's Continuous Improvement program and culture, and serves as the CI champion for the plant.
Leads the implementation of new initiatives, including new products and processesTeaches, coaches, and mentors employees to sustain improvements generatedCollaborates with product development, R&D, plant staff, and management to ensure project requirements are understood and are met.
Learns and shares best practices with and from other Alternative Materials Division and UFP plants.
Develops metrics and prepares written reports, and communicates as required.
Performs other duties as required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
